Biography
Steven Wetzner, MD received his medical degree at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine and he completed his diagnostic radiology residency at New England Medical Center. Dr. Wetzner is a skilled radiologist with over 30 years of clinical imaging experience with a specific concentration on PET/CT. Dr. Wetzner holds an academic position as a Clinical Professor of Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is Emeritus Chairman of Radiology at New England Baptist Hospital, Medical Director for several imaging facilities, consultant to several national imaging corporations, and a frequent participant in “expert panels” related to PET imaging. In addition, he is actively involved in the field of medical ethics and research and is Chairman of his hospital’s Institutional Review Board. He has lectured nationally and internationally and has written 21 peer reviewed publications and three book chapters. There are few people in this country as experiences and well accomplished in the realm of PET/CT than Steven Wetzner.
